Let's try this again......

So I haven't posted anything, for awhile because the computer, has been down. So I'm try this one more time. Last week, I had been working with my niece to get a scrapbook completed for her Grandmother's birthday. So we had about 4 days to get it done. We got most of it done. There was just 4 empty pages left in the book,when she left. The following pic'ts are just some that we have worked on.

Something's Wrong. . . . .

So there is something wrong. . . . with the computer. It's called my DH, for some reason beyond me he decided to move all of my music off the internal harddrive to the external one.....don't ask. But all I do know is that most of my music is gone and how the computer will not let me download any images at all. So the card I just completed is going to have to wait until my DH decide's to fix it. Which . . .oh.. should be some time next week, so by than I will have a few cards and story's to post.

Gift Card Holder

Have been working on this one for a couple for day's. It took a while to get into the Halloween mood in the the middle of summer. But once I dug up all of my halloween paper everything just seemed to flow into place for me.

I also used on the gift card DP making memories, spider brad and stickers from CI,
bat punch MS, ribbon and bling unknown.

Easel Card

My BF has been making this style of card for a while. So I thought I would give it a try. I really like now it turned out especially with putting the stamped image that close to the bottom.

For the easel card I used the fellowing:

Double Pocket Card

This card was started Friday afternoon and was actually completed about 2 hours ago! Was busy running around doing errands. Plus I had to go to Micheals at least twice to get the supplies that I didn't have on hand to completed the card.






This is the first time I've try to make a double pocket card, it took a bit to get the design correct, but once I got it, the rest was easy. The stamp is from CC Designs "Surfer Emma" and the dp is from Basic Gray. I used a mixture of copic's and Twinkling h2o's (I believe that the correct name), to color in the design. Also for the first time I tried Vellum paper, over top of one of the tags. I think it turned out pretty good.

My mistake!

Big Mistake!! Had signed in to post pic's of a frame I just finished. But my insecurities and lack of confidence in myself and what I create stopped me from posting the pic's. I look at everybody else's work and think they are so much better than me!! This just drives my Bff crazy! But I guess the past two years, have knocked me about some and I just don't have the same confidence, I use to have when I was younger. I am working on fixing that, but I think it might just take awhile to do. Will be working on some page's and cards tomorrow so you might get to see them. Maybe! lol

Starting again

The name has changed and so has the content! It's not all about arts and crafts, but about the life that surrounds those moments, and what brings those moments about! Family and Friends, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly moments and of course the fun times! Everybody in my life at one time or any other, is going to be mentioned in this blog, hopefully not by name, but you might be reading something that sounds like you. And yes, I will be putting pic's up of the items I have made, for everybody to see.
